We know that many of our customers are new to the world of gas airplane engines and we want to help you wherever possible to quickly get started enjoying your new DL50 powered airplane.     We maintain a stock of spare and replacement parts. If you require something we don't have on hand, it's usually no more than 3 to 10 days away by special order. There's a good chance that whatever you need is listed on the PARTS page.

    We inspect and perform tests on all engines and parts before they are shipped to our customers. Even so, it's possible a defective part might reach you. If it does, don't use it. Call 972-869-9313 or email us at support@dlusa.net to let us know what the problem is so we can get it resolved under warranty. Using a defective part may not only be dangerous, but may void your warranty needlessly.

    In the unfortunate circumstance that your engine is damaged in a crash, we can help. Beyond supplying parts, we can assist you with the repair. We can provide a rough estimate of repair expense over the phone based on your description of the damage, and an exact amount if you send it in for us to inspect.

RECEIPT OF DAMAGED MERCHANDISE

 

All claims for shipping damages must be made with the carrier within 3 days of receipt.
 

If you find damage after receiving a shipment, please contact the carrier immediately for damage claim processing. Typically, they will arrange a time to have an adjuster go to your site and inspect the packaging and damage. Make sure to keep all of the packaging that your shipment came in as they will need to see it to process your claim. Feel free to call or email us with questions. Our support representative will be happy to guide you through the claim process.

 

 PRODUCT RETURNS

  1. We will only consider returns for items that were purchased directly from DLUSA, LLC. A request for return must be made within 3 days of receiving your order, and if approved, the item(s) must be returned to DLUSA within 20 days of the original purchase date. Returned items must be in new and unused condition and in their original and undamaged packaging. Our inspection of the returned item(s) will be the sole determination of whether the item is considered new and unused.
  2. All returns must have prior authorization. Returns will not be accepted without an RMA number. The RMA number must appear on the shipping label of the package being returned.
  3. We do not accept returns via COD or billed to DLUSA. All return shipping and insurance charges must be prepaid by you. We are not responsible for damage to or loss of return shipments so insurance is highly recommended.
  4. All returns are subject to a 15% restocking charge. This covers our initial shipping costs and to have the product inspected and repackaged. Additional charges will apply if the item(s) are determined to be no longer new and unused. Credit for returned items will be issued after the items have been fully processed at our site. Note: the restocking charge for international orders may be more and will be based on initial shipping costs.
